Beef Barley Soup
Our Beef barley soup  is packed full of  vegetables and five different seasonings. This soup is slow cooked to build those big flavours that everyone loves, plus a beef rib roast that was roasted in the oven with onions.

When making any soup you need to build on those flavours by layering the ingredients and releasing all those fresh flavours. This soup I have a rib roast that got a lot of marbling and that means fat, just enough to make this soup burst with flavours. I browned the roast by baking it in a 350°F oven for 1 hour, 1/2 hour covered and 1/2 hour uncovered. The beef  was roasted nice and brown then chopped in small pieces and place in a boiler three quarters full of beef broth.
