Traditional Newfoundland Peas Soup & Doughboys
Creamy peas soup with small doughboys and packed full of fresh vegetables.

A bowl of soup is good anytime of the year, but making it in the fall of the year when it’s flu season is always the best time to stock up and making lots to bottle for a later date to enjoy. I make soup at less once a week and I give away many bottles of soup as gifts, or because I make so much. I will share a few more good soup recipes for you to share with your family and friends and for sure to make them.

Traditional Newfoundland Bean Soup with Ham

I  hope I’ve convinced you to pull out that big boiler and start your delicious pot of homemade soup, it doesn’t matter what type of soup just build on those flavours and add in all of your favourite ingredients. Remember taking the time out for making your own food is one of the biggest rewards you can ever have done for yourself, so roll up your sleeves and enjoy your kitchen and maybe your kids and spouse can join you in making a meal you will all remember.
