Hi and welcome to our website!!
Today's recipe is a tasty batch of homemade pesto!!!
This recipe is quick and you can store in the fridge for a week or freeze in ice cube trays to have when you need it!!

This pesto can be used in so many tasty recipes and your favourite dressing.

Using real parmesan cheese works best but you can use the bottle type but leave out the salt because it will be to salty...

Ingredients
- Sweet basil - 1 cup fresh
- Parsley - 1 cup fresh
- Cilantro - ½ cup fresh ( optional )
- Almonds - ½ cup, chopped
- Olive oil - 3/4 cup or cooking oil
- Parmesan Cheese - 3/4 cup
- Sea salt - ½ tsp
- Black pepper - ½ tsp
- Garlic - 4 cloves
Instructions
Method:
Makes 1½ cups
Add first five ingredients to a food processor and blend until a paste like consistency.
Then with motor running add olive oil or cooking oil…thorough feed tube in a steady stream until used. Then add parmesan cheese, sea salt and pepper.
After put in a mason jar to use in a week or freeze in a ice cube tray to remove one at a time when needed.
Bonita’s Tips:
Freezing them in ice cube trays keeps them longer and can be removed and use when needed. Thaw one hour before used.
