Corned beef is loved here in Newfoundland and Labrador, it was a big deal years ago with our elders. They will cook something with this canned corned beef. Our popular recipes would be Corned Beef Cakes and Corned Beef Hash. But in our days we try to expand our choices and look for more ways to enjoy this affordable and tasty canned corned beef.

CORNED BEEF PASTRIES
Now lets make our pastries.

This is just a simple pastry and we will be cutting out 4 inch round shapes and put them in a muffin pan.

Cut in your butter in to the dry ingredients.

Pastry formed into a ball, ready to roll out!!!!

Cut 12 4 inch pastries and put in muffin pan.

Scoop a tablespoon of your mixture into the uncooked pastry.

Bake in a preheated oven of 350ºF for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
