Sausage Crown
Traditional Newfoundland Sausage Crown is a lovely meal made with breakfast sausages and a homemade pastry, onions, apples and raisins.
Sausage Crown
Traditional Newfoundland sausage crown is made up of sausages, onions, apples, raisins and a pastry that is very interesting recipe taken from a old Newfoundland cookbook and it tastes lovely.

I’m always weary about trying a new recipe from a cookbook that got no pictures and the recipe is partly wrote, of course you need to use your imagination on how to create this recipe. I also don’t like to throw out food, so I need to do my research on what Traditional Newfoundland recipes are the best ones to try.

I don’t have a budget for Bonita’s kitchen so whatever I cook on the show becomes our meal for supper, or I give it to my Mom, family, friends and Neighbors. This way I don’t have any waste and I feel good about sharing with other people, it is very important that when I found a recipe I make sure it is going to work the first time.

“Some people can read a recipe and just make it, I’m all about the visual recipe seeing pictures, having step by step instructions. This is why I enjoy working on Bonita’s kitchen I can show you from start to finish how this recipe is made, and every recipe I share with you on my website or Facebook page have been tried by me personally and not just shared to get ratings.”
