This page explains what Bonita’s Kitchen collects when you visit bonitaskitchen.com, and why. We keep it to what we need to share recipes, answer your messages and keep the site running.
What you share with us
- Email sign-ups. When you sign up for new recipes, your email address goes to Kit, the service we use to send our emails. You can stop any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- “Email me this recipe.” We use your email address to send you that recipe. You only join our list if you tick the box.
- Comments and ratings. A comment shows your name and, if you add it, where you’re cooking from. Your email address is not shown. Your internet address is used to help stop spam and to count one rating per person.
- Hearts, stories and messages. If you send a heart, a story or a message through the contact form, we receive what you write and the details you give us. Hearts show your first name and where you’re from once approved.
Cookies and site statistics
We use Google Analytics to see which recipes and pages people visit. Your browser also saves a few small settings, such as whether you closed a sign-up box, so we don’t keep asking. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Videos
Our videos play from YouTube. When you play one, YouTube may collect data under Google’s privacy policy.
