FRENCH TOAST and HAM Sandwich

Our recipe is a tasty meal for any meal and serve it with a bowl of your favourite soup....
You can also add any type of meat to make this sandwich affordable for you!!!
If you like sandwich's you will love our tasty and affordable FRENCH TOAST and HAM Sandwich. If you don't have canned ham, use canned chicken, turkey or tuna...
Add to bowl, canned ham, mustard, mayo, sea salt and pepper and mix together.

Ingredients
- Sliced bread - 4 slices or more
- Large eggs - 4 each
- Flaked Ham - 1 can, or meat of choice
- Mustard - 1 tbsp
- Mayo or miracle whip - 1 tbsp
- Cream or milk - ¼ cup
- Butter or margarine - 2 tbsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Red or green onion - 1 tbsp
- Pepper - ½ tsp
- sea salt - ½
- Nutmeg - pinch
Instructions
First crack your eggs in a bowl and whisk together, then top with pinch of pepper and sea salt, then add nutmeg. Add cream or milk.
Continue whisking together.
Get your frying pan hot and add 1 tbsp butter, then dip your bread of choice into the egg mixture, then two slices of bread at one time, place into the hot pan.
After it fry’s for a few minutes or until golden brown, turn over and fry the other side.
Continue doing this for the other two slices of bread or for as many as you like. After into another bowl add canned flaked ham, add pinch of sea salt and pepper.
Then mayo and mustard, mix or mash together.
Then back to the french toast remove from the pan and place on a plate, top with a scoop of ham mixture. Then place the other slice on top, cut in half. Continue doing this until both sandwiches are made or as many as you like.

This is a way to use up leftover ham or chicken to make your sandwich.
You also can use any type of can meat to make an affordable sandwich.
Of course you can use any type of bread. Also use the spread and mustard of choice.
This is no well hidden secret!!
But it’s an affordable meal made with the simples of ingredient’s and comfort food at it’s best!!!
French toast is something we are use to making, but having it turned into a french toast and ham sandwich is another story. So get out your favourite bread and crack a couple of eggs and make yourself a tasty meal.
My ham mixture had extra yellow mustard to turn the meat more tanned but the taste is still the same…with a twice of flavours.
But you can use the spreads or seasonings you enjoy eating to make our tasty sandwich….
Serve this amazing sandwich with a bowl of hot Cream of Turkey Soup or Peas Soup & Doughboys, Traditional Newfoundland
