Ingredients
- POUND CAKE:
- Sifted Flour - 1 - 1/2 cups
- Baking powder - 1 - 1/2 tsp
- White sugar - 3/4 cup
- Sea salt - 1/2 tsp
- Eggs - 3 large
- Evaporated Whole Milk - 1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Butter - 3/4 cup
- COCONUT BUTTER ICING:
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Confectioners Sugar - 3 cups
- Coconut oil - 1 tsp
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Evaporated Whole Milk - 3 tbsp
- Coconut - 1/3 cup or more

Growing up in a small community here in Newfoundland and Labrador we loved tea with everything, we called our night-time tea a bedtime snack ( mug-up ) and it was so delicious before you went to bed. So having a little taste of pound cake with tea or your favourite coffee will relax you.
