This recipe for old fashion pancakes are a meal for 4 to 6 people depending on how many you like, they make 6 large pancakes or 12 small. We have a delicious Blueberry Syrup available here for you to pour over your pancakes. Also we have a video for Breakfast Anytime of The Day here for you if you wish to have more then just pancakes.

Blueberry Syrup — **Our delicious homemade blueberry syrup is made with freshly picked Newfoundland and Labrador blueberries we picked last summer and froze them.**

Ingredients

White Flour - 1 1/2 cups, sifted twice
Baking powder - 3 tsp
White sugar - 2 tsp
Egg - 1 large
Evaporated Milk or Fresh - 1 cup
Butter - 1 tbsp, melted, and extra for frying
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Sea salt - 1/4 tsp

Instructions

In a large bowl sift all dry ingredients twice.
Then in a small bowl crack egg and lightly beat and add to melt butter room temp.
Add evaporated milk and vanilla mix together, then add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and fold together.
In a frying pan of choice add a small amount of butter and place on a hot stove top, medium heat.
Scoop a small amount of batter and let fry 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown, then flip over and fry the same on the other side.
Serve with Blueberry Syrup or MAPLE SYRUP or syrup of choice.

You can add fresh blueberries or chocolate to the pancakes or just leave plain and top with whipped cream, fresh or frozen fruit, and Blueberry Syrup

Serve with fried sausage, bacon or hash browns.

This pancake mix can be used anytime of the day for a delicious meal, we would have these for pancake day when we were little, our parents word have a surprise inside. Our traditions was a little different but very fun and this was a treat for us on.

In the Christian tradition Pancake Day, Pancake Tuesday and also called Shrove Tuesday, is the last day of feasting before Lent begins on the following day, called Ash Wednesday.
