We all have most of these ingredients in our cupboard or pantry.

You dan’t need to go buy it just use what you got….

Butter the bread on both sides and then top with a scoop of tuna, spread out!

This mixture is enough for four sandwiches..

  1. Open and drain the juice from the can of tuna, then add to a bowl with all of the ingredients except the cheese and bread and caramelized onions.

  2. Mix together with a fork until blended well, taste if you need more seasonings just add.

  3. Prepare the bread by adding a thin spread of butter on both sides. Then a big scoop of tuna mixture and a scoop of caramelized onions….No mayo or mustard needed because its in the mixture.

  4. Do this with two sandwiches or as many as you need. Then add the slice of cheese and top with the other slice of bread.

  5. Cook one of three ways….put in the air fryer until golden brown, place on a grill and flip over when the grill marks are in them. Next option…on a pan in the oven on grill for a few minutes until golden brown.

  6. When cooked cut in four pieces and serve with a full dill pickle and a bowl of soup!!
